01  ·  Salon Cutting System

For salon owners and teams.

A plug-and-play cutting system your whole team can run from day one. Instead of building training from scratch, you drop in a proven method everyone cuts from, so the business stops hinging on who's working that day. New hires onboard in weeks, not months. Your veterans keep sharpening on the same foundation. And you don't set it up alone: coaching and consulting from Travis get it running inside your walls, so the whole operation gets smoother, not just the haircuts. Every stylist gets full access to the HME library; your Lead Educator carries the Trainer's Guide to lead it in-house. The payoff: a calmer floor, a team that's finally aligned, a client who gets the same result in any chair, and an owner who's no longer the only one holding it together.

Everything begins with filling out our salon questionnaire. You’ll tell us about your team, your goals, and where you want to take the salon. Inside, you’ll find a link to book your Discovery Call, where we dig into your answers and map the right path for your team.

Start the questionnaire

Your Lead Educator teaches Cutting Course ONE, TWO, and THREE inside your salon. Every stylist gets their own dashboard access to watch before and after each session, a handbook for each course with blank head sheets to diagram every cut, and quizzes throughout. They also get the HairCut PRO library and The Cutting Edge videos.

Your Lead Educator gets the Trainer's Guide, which is what makes the system teachable in-house. It covers the what, why, and when of every technique: where each one falls in the curriculum, how it works inside each cut, and the glossary of terms used throughout.

You also get two calls with Travis in your first 90 days, to work through deployment and implementation.

And your salon is listed in our public directory.

Cutting Course ONE is 11 theory videos and 6 haircuts, 8.9 hours in total. Cutting Course TWO is 11 theory videos and 6 haircuts, 10.5 hours. Cutting Course THREE is 11 theory videos and 4 haircuts, 4.6 hours.

Yes, quizzes run throughout each course. They help your stylists lock in what they just learned, and they give your Lead Educator a read on where each person actually is before the team moves on.

Yes. Once you are a Certified Salon, Travis's day rate drops to $3,000 for any additional bookings, on top of discounts on future class offerings, private coaching, trend-based cutting classes, and ongoing access for new hires.

Each one carries everything in the level below it. Level 1 (+$2,500) adds a guided start: one strategy call, four coaching calls, and a rollout plan built around how your salon actually runs, across the first 90 days. Level 2 (+$5,500) carries that across six months instead of 90 days: more calls, more access, and the room to keep adjusting as your team moves through the courses. Level 3 brings Travis to your floor for the launch. One day, the whole team together, learning the method from the person who built it. Your Lead Educator teaches beside him and walks away ready to carry it, with six months of calls behind them. It is priced by the size of your team: up to 25 stylists adds $8,500, 26 to 50 adds $11,000 for a second facilitator so the team can train in parallel groups, and 51 to 75 adds $16,000 for that facilitator plus six months of coaching for you as the owner. Every level includes the $5,000 Base.

It starts the day you come on board, not when you finish. A certificate for display, a salon seal for your door, a digital badge for social and web, the ability to promote your salon as HME Certified, and a listing in the public Find a Stylist directory.

Choose any mix. On-demand video, live online sessions, in-person at the HME academy, or on-location at your salon (Level 3 only). The same curriculum, the same system, delivered in the format that fits your salon's schedule and budget.

Every salon starts with the $5,000 Base, your whole team in, ready to run in-house. Every level includes that Base and builds on it, so what you see quoted per level is only what it adds: Level 1 adds $2,500 and Level 2 adds $5,500, so those come to $7,500 and $10,500. Level 3 is priced by team size and travel is billed on top: up to 25 stylists adds $8,500 for $13,500, 26 to 50 adds $11,000 for $16,000, and 51 to 75 adds $16,000 for $21,000. Your exact quote, shaped to your salon, comes on the Discovery Call.

No, travel is billed separately on Level 3, because that is the level where Travis comes to you. It covers airfare, hotel, ground transport, and a daily per diem, and it is invoiced at cost. Levels below 3 run remotely, so there is no travel on them.

Yes. Pay outright, or finance through Klarna or Afterpay and spread it across your salon's normal cash flow.

Yes. If your salon is in the L'Oréal PPD Level Loyalty Program, you can put the points you've already earned on L'Oréal product purchases toward the Salon Cutting System. Current point values and redemption live on the LVL portal.

It adds up fast. Ten stylists buying the on-demand bundle ($599) and The Cutting Edge Full Collection ($199) on their own would spend $7,980; twenty-five would spend $19,950. The Salon Cutting System covers the whole team for $5,000, plus the Trainer's Guide and calls with Travis, which aren't sold individually. The salon pays once for the system, the whole team learns from it.

Only the salon owner's. If you own the salon and bought CC2, CC3, or the bundle before you certify, that spend comes straight off your certification investment, so nothing you've already paid is wasted. A team stylist's personal purchases stay theirs for life, but they don't count toward the salon. (On-demand courses only, not in-person workshops.)

A real conversation, not a pitch. About an hour on video with our HME team: the team you have, the team you're building, the work you do, and where you want the salon in a couple of years. If HME's a fit, you leave with an estimate shaped to your salon. If it's not, no pressure.

02  ·  Host Travis

Bring Travis in to teach.

A custom in-salon workshop built around your team. Travis comes to your salon for a hands-on day, trend-driven, technique-focused, or a blend, made to reignite the craft and level everyone up. You pick the focus; he builds the class around it.

Everything begins with filling out our salon questionnaire. You'll tell us about your team, your story, the looks you'd like to focus on, and where you want to take the class. Inside, you'll find a link to book a call, where we dig into your answers and talk through dates and cost.

Start the Conversation

$4,000 per day plus travel. Travel is invoiced separately and covers airfare, hotel, ground transport, and a $100/day per diem.

Yes. Open the seats beyond your salon. $4,000/day plus travel. The day covers up to 50 stylists for a demo or up to 20 for hands-on. Guest stylists pay $350 (hands-on) or $150 (demo) and book through HME, and your salon keeps 10% of guest ticket sales.

You provide the mannequins and tripods for your own stylists (we'll send a mannequin discount code), plus chairs, a workspace, and beverages and snacks for the group. Travis brings the teaching.

Yes. Financing is available so you can spread the cost and focus on the learning, not the bill. We'll walk through the options on your call.

Yes. Salons in the L'Oréal PPD Level Loyalty Program can redeem Level Loyalty Points toward a day with Travis. Current point values live on the LVL portal.

A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your date, with the balance due 30 days before the class. The balance (not the deposit) is refundable if you cancel in writing at least 30 days out; inside 30 days it's non-refundable. Cancellation and reschedule details are in your contract.

Whatever works for your team. Travis can demonstrate, run it fully hands-on with your stylists cutting, or blend the two. You'll sort out the right mix when you build the class.

A full day. Some salons book two days to go deeper, and it's priced per day either way.

An in-salon workshop is a one-off, fully customized day to inspire and level up your team, with no long-term commitment. The Salon Cutting System is the full curriculum your whole salon adopts and gets certified in. Many salons start with a workshop and grow into certification from there.

03  ·  Brand Partnerships

For brand education teams.

At the core, Travis is a facilitator, the engine behind everything HME brings a brand. Put him front and center: on your stage, in your classroom, hands-on with your stylists and your audience, carrying your brand as his own. Around that, HME develops collections and the courses to launch them, coaches your educators and their public speaking, aligns your brand voice and team strategy, and creates the video, on camera as your talent and behind it as director. And when you want a technical cutting method to train on, the HME system is there.

Everything begins with filling out our brand questionnaire. You’ll tell us about your brand, your team, the work you’re taking on, and where you want to take it. Inside, you’ll find a link to book a call, where we dig into your answers and scope the engagement.

Start the questionnaire

Yes. This is the heart of it. Travis teaches and presents for brands: platform work, classes, demos, and live education in front of your stylists and your audience, delivered as your brand. In person or online, scaled to the room.

Yes, on two fronts. First, how your team teaches: facilitation, delivery, structure, and public speaking, so they own the room and the message lands the same in every market. Second, what they teach: Travis trains your educators on the looks and techniques behind your latest campaign, so they can create them and teach them across your network.

Yes, from concept to curriculum. HME develops seasonal collections and the course architecture around them, so a launch arrives with the education already built to teach it.

Yes, and Travis is the talent in front of the camera, not only the eye behind it. HME creates video content for your brand end to end: Travis on camera delivering the education, plus script, direction, capture, edit, and delivery-ready files for your channels. A background across curriculum, classroom, on-camera, and full production.

Yes. HME helps shape how your brand sounds and how your education team works: brand voice alignment, team strategy, and the standards that keep both consistent as you grow.

Yes, when you want it. The HME cutting system gives your educators one technical method and one shared language, built on the three elements every haircut is made from. Thread it into your existing program or build on it. An option, never a requirement.

Travis has worked with global beauty brands across decades of education, including eighteen years with L'Oréal Professionnel. Others include Toni & Guy (TIGI), Kérastase, Shu Uemura, Moroccanoil, Statement Grooming Goods, and Goldie Locks, to name a few.

04  ·  Stylist Education

For individual stylists.

The HME cutting system is a complete, repeatable method for reading any haircut, breaking it down, and executing it. HME teaches the three core elements every haircut is built from, so once you can see the structure, you can map any cut, build it, and repeat it on demand. That's the leap from copying hair to understanding it. The system is the architecture beneath your artistry, never a replacement for it. Three courses to make it second nature.

CC1, the foundation. This is where your journey begins, and haircutting finally makes sense. It teaches you the DNA of every cut: head anatomy, the three elements (length, layers, face frame), section patterns, elevation and distribution. Six cuts as the means of inspiration to teach you the ingredients of every haircut.

CC2, the expansion. Now the system flexes. You take your understanding to hair per square inch, reading density and porosity, razor work, texturizing shears, dry cutting, and personalization, so the cut fits each client specifically.

CC3, where it becomes yours. Understanding face shape and framing, advanced layering, graduation, and the freedom to build your own collection on top of the system. This is where the fundamentals stop being rules and start becoming instinct. This is when HME becomes yours.

Yes. The system builds on itself, each course earns the next. Skip ahead and you're building on a foundation you never poured. Start at ONE.

On-demand video, start to finish. Stream any lesson, any time, on any device, at your own pace. Buy it once and it's yours for life. No cohorts, no deadlines, no expiry. Every HME tutorial video, from Cutting Course ONE, TWO and THREE to HairCut PRO and The Cutting Edge, is demonstrated on mannequins.

Yes, and it's the real thing. Two days at the HME Academy in San Diego with the HME team, in a near one-on-one, hands-on experience. The mannequins are provided, you just bring your tools. Take a single workshop at $1,500, or take all three as the in-person bundle for $3,600 and save $900.

Five. In-person workshops are kept small on purpose, near one-on-one, so you get real coaching at your shoulder all day.

Two full days. CC1 runs about 9am to 7pm, nine to ten hours a day. CC2 and CC3 run about 9am to 6pm, eight to nine hours a day.

Once you book an in-person workshop, a curated list of nearby hotels appears in your course dashboard.

Depends how you take it. On demand, you cut along at home, so you bring your own: two per course, six across all three. The links to buy the mannequins we use, with your discount, are inside each course once you buy it or enroll for free. In person, the mannequins and tripods are waiting for you. Just bring your cutting tools and be ready to cut.

Here's the kit, by course.

CC1: shears, a cutting comb (wide and small teeth), a water bottle, 10 hair clips, and a detangling brush.

CC2 and CC3 add: shears, a cutting comb (wide and small teeth), a water bottle, 10 hair clips, texturizing and notching shears, a razor with extra blades, a round brush, a paddle brush, a bristle brush, and a hair dryer with nozzle and diffuser.

In person, the printed handbook is in your hands on day one. On demand, the digital handbook is included, and you can order the bound print copy any time from your dashboard.

Two ways in. On demand: CC1 is free, CC2 and CC3 are $350 each, or take all three as the on-demand bundle for $599 and save $101. In person: the two-day workshops at the HME Academy in San Diego are $1,500 each, or the full in-person bundle is $3,600 and saves $900.

Yes. At on-demand checkout you can split the cost into monthly payments, and Klarna and Afterpay are both available. Choose the option that fits at checkout.

On-demand courses come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Not happy in the first 30 days, you get a full refund, no hoops. After 30 days, no refunds. Live and in-person courses run differently: reschedule free if you give us more than two months' notice; inside that window you can still move your date, but the new course is paid in full with no refund on the original. To start a refund, email contact@hairdressingmadeeasy.com.

Take your courses in person and you receive a printed certificate and seal to display with pride, plus a matching digital certificate and badge for each course you complete to post and brag online. Take them on demand and you receive the digital certificate and badge for each course you complete to post on your website and social pages.

A free 31-video library: 20 trend-based haircuts plus 11 lessons on tools, marketing, and client connection. Open to anyone with an HME account. Free, on demand, yours for life. No catch.

Trending cuts clients are asking for now, each broken down with the HME system. Watch on demand, rewatch anytime, yours for life. $50 a cut, or all ten for $199.

Through the HME directory, the public Find a Stylist map clients use to search for trained stylists by location. Complete the three-course HME Certification (CC1, CC2, CC3) and you're listed with a gold geo pin, our highest honor. Free to be listed, free for clients to browse. To update your photo, contact info, or salon, email contact@hairdressingmadeeasy.com and we'll update your listing.

05  ·  Speaker Training

For anyone who has to speak.

It builds one skill: commanding the room. Speaking with confidence, connecting like a person instead of a presenter, staying steady when every eye is on you, and telling a story that lands. Take it as an individual in our two-day open training, or bring it in-house, where Travis comes to your business and trains your team.

Yes, and it's one of our most common engagements. Travis comes to you and trains your group, any team or division, from sales to leadership to education, anyone who has to command a room. Built around your people, delivered on-site or live online.

Taking it on your own? Just raise your hand, no call needed. No commitment, and we'll reach out as cohorts form.

Express interest

No. The training grew out of decades of brand education work in the beauty industry, but the skill of holding a room is the same whether you teach, pitch, present, or lead. It's open to any field.

Especially you. The speakers who look effortless are running a system underneath, and that system can be learned. You don't have to be a natural to walk out owning a room.

Walking in with presence. Calming your nerves. Sounding like yourself. Telling stories that land. Reading the room and adapting live. Opening and closing so it sticks.

The open training runs two full days, in person or live on Zoom. Team training is built to your schedule, on-site or live online.

The open training is $2,500 per person. Team training is scoped to your group; we'll talk through it on a call.

No refunds for requests made less than 30 days before the event. Reschedules available up to 30 days before.
