Salon Cutting System

The cutting system that holds the salon together.

Your team trains on one technical foundation. New hires onboard into it. Senior stylists deepen it. The client gets the same result no matter whose chair they sit in. Year over year, the salon gets stronger. The team gets tighter. The brand carries weight.

Two steps to bring the Salon Cutting System to your team.

01  ·  Why this exists

You feel it before you can name it.

You walk the floor on a busy Saturday. One chair, the client is glowing. Next chair, the haircut is off. Same brand on the wall. Same training, supposedly. Different result.

New hires shadow your senior team for months before they're up to speed. Senior stylists carry the team's knowledge in their heads, because that's what makes them indispensable, and the day one of them quits, the playbook walks out the door.

The work behind the chair shouldn't depend on which chair the client picks. That's why HME exists: one method the whole team cuts from, so the result holds in every chair.

02  ·  What you become

What changes the day you certify.

The system stops living in someone's head.

Your lead educator carries the Trainer's Guide and has Travis Parker on speed-dial. The whole team trains on one technical foundation, and brings their own style to the top of it.

New hires walk into a curriculum on day one instead of waiting six months for osmosis. Senior stylists go deeper because there's somewhere new to go.

Your HME Certified seal goes on the front door. Your certificate hangs on the wall. Your salon joins the HME Certified directory, where stylists looking for somewhere to grow and clients looking for cuts they can trust both come looking for you.

From here on, the salon plays a different game.

Great salons aren't accidents. They're built on systems. Trained into existence.
HME
HME Certified seal, CC3 PEAK, earned by finishing all three Cutting Courses
03  ·  What's included

Three courses. One certification.

When your salon comes on board, the whole team gets in. Your Lead Educator teaches the curriculum inside your salon, carrying the Trainer’s Guide that makes the system run within your walls. Every stylist has their own dashboard access to watch before and after each session. And because this is 24 hours of instruction across three courses, we build the rollout calendar with you, so it lands as a plan your team works through, personalized to your salon, not a library they are left to figure out. All cuts are demonstrated on mannequins.

Structure and discipline. Every stylist on the floor builds a haircut the same way, from the same fundamentals, so the work holds up whoever is holding the shears.
Texturizing, density reading, personalization. Razor cutting and dry cutting. Where the team stops repeating a shape and starts tailoring it to the client in the chair.
The highest tier. Face framing, creative artistry, and the deepest application of the three elements. Finish all three and the salon carries HME Certification.

04  ·  Investment

Starts at $5,000.

Every engagement starts with the same Base. From there you choose how hands-on Travis is, from a salon ready to run it internally all the way to Travis on-site working directly with the team. Four levels. Every one of them includes the Base, so the price beside each is just what that level adds on top.

Pay in cash, financing available.

Pay outright at engagement, or finance through Klarna or Afterpay and spread the investment across the salon's regular cash flow. Either way, the certification fits how your salon already operates.

02
Or pay with Level Loyalty Points.

Salons in the L'Oréal PPD Loyalty Program can put Level Loyalty Points toward the Salon Cutting System, so the spend you have already put in on product comes back to you as education for your team.

03
Own the system, get inside rates.

Once you are a Certified Salon, Travis's day rate drops from $4,000 to $3,000 for any booking after this one, and you keep a standing discount on coaching, trend classes, and access for each new hire you make.
